Top 5 Things to do this Halloween Season

In the past during Halloween season many of us would go to theme parks, haunted houses, and parties. However, with COVID 19 still going on many Halloween festivities are being cancelled. That doesn't mean we all still can't have a fun and scary Halloween! Below I will be listing the top 5 things to do this Halloween season!

Freeform's Halloween Road

From October 2nd-4th the public will be able to drive in and watch performances from classic Halloween movies such as Hocus Pocus and Ghostbusters. This will be happening at Heritage Square Museum and is completely free! Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time and enjoy a fun night!

Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience

This Drive-In experience will bring the Netlifx series to life by taking you on an adventure to visit many places from the show such as: Russian Labs, Upside Down and the Starcourt Mall. There will be actors in costumes that will perform a number of scenes. The experience lasts about an hour and tickets start at $59 for 2 people in the car.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride

The haunted hayride experience will be a little different this year but you will still be able to experience it all from the safety of your car. Some of this years activities include a show screened on a 40-foot screen, scenic environments from previous hayrides and live characters from Midnight Falls—the sort of Sons of Anarchy meets Twin Peaks setting from last year’s traditional hayride. The location for the hayride has also changed from Griffith Park to Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas. This experience will be happening from September 25th to November 1st. For information on ticket prices and much more head to their website @ https://losangeleshauntedhayride.com/

Urban Legends of Southern California

The OC Fair and Event Center is welcoming Urban Legends of Southern California most evenings in October. This experience will perform bits of scenes from spooky folklore. There will also be three interactive show zones that you can park inside of! This experience is open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays from October 1st to November 1st. Tickets cost $50 per vehicle on Wednesdays, $60 on Thursdays and Sundays, and $70 on Fridays and Saturdays. Ticket prices are expected to increase so if this sounds like something you might be interested in buy your tickets now!

Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween

Knott's Berry Farm is still currently closed but they have still found a way to get into the Halloween spirit. Knott's is throwing a spooky food festival for the whole family! It's set to have different food stations including pumpkin spiced treats, funnel cakes, soup bread bowels and much more. There will even be a children's trick-or-treating trail! There is no admission necessary but you will need to purchase a tasting card. 5 tastes for $35, or $20 for a kids card with three tastes.
